Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Scope of Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the financial terms governing seminar tuition deposits, course cancellations, attendee transfers, and custom engineering audit contracts with Focus Connect Core.

2. Open Seminar Cohort Cancellations

Because our seminar cohorts are strictly capped (8 to 12 engineers per session) to guarantee individual laboratory bench access and custom hardware setups, the following cancellation timeline applies:

• 14 Days or More Before Seminar Start: Full refund of all tuition and seat deposits, less a ₩50,000 KRW administrative banking and processing fee.
• 7 to 13 Days Before Seminar Start: 50% refund of total tuition paid. Alternatively, the participant may transfer 100% of the tuition credit toward a future scheduled cohort within six (6) months.
• Less Than 7 Days Before Seminar Start: Non-refundable due to pre-purchased perishable dielectric fluid test reagents, laboratory PPE allocations, and reserved engineering staff.
• No-Shows on Seminar Day: Non-refundable and non-transferable.

3. Delegate Substitution & Seat Transfers

If a registered engineer cannot attend their scheduled session, an employer or sponsor organization may substitute an alternate qualified colleague at no additional charge by notifying Focus Connect Core in writing at least 48 hours prior to course commencement.

4. Custom Facility Audits & Advisory Engagements

For bespoke corporate engineering audits and on-site facility simulations:

• Before Work Commences: If an audit is cancelled prior to physical site surveys or laboratory CAD modeling, the 50% mobilization deposit is refunded minus incurred travel booking expenses.
• Work Already Commenced: Once on-site acoustic/thermal measurements or custom hydraulic simulations have begun at our Gimpo lab, fees for labor and testing completed up to the date of cancellation are non-refundable.

5. Seminar Rescheduling by Focus Connect Core

In the rare event of extreme weather, regional power disruption, or instructor medical emergency, Focus Connect Core reserves the right to reschedule the seminar date. Affected participants may choose between an immediate 100% full refund or priority transfer to the next available cohort date.

6. Refund Processing Method & Timeframe

Approved refunds are processed exclusively via direct corporate bank wire transfer to the original remitting account. Revised electronic tax credit invoices (마이너스 세금계산서) will be issued. Wire refunds are executed within 5 to 7 business days following formal written approval.
