Single-Phase Immersion Cooling Masterclass (May 2026)
The laboratory testing with real ASTM oil breakdown cells was invaluable. Learning how plasticizers in cheap PVC cables contaminate synthetic hydrocarbon oils saved us from an expensive fluid flush. My only critique is that the 1-day agenda is exceptionally dense—the fluid testing segment alone could easily have filled an extra half day to cover FTIR spectroscopy in greater depth.

How an air-cooled mining facility transitioned to single-phase immersion following our 3-day masterclass.

Resolving Mid-Summer Thermal Shutdowns & Acoustic Penalties

Context: A commercial operator running 120 Antminer S19 units in an industrial park faced severe acoustic noise complaints (over 85 dB at boundary walls) and 15% hash rate throttling during July heatwaves.

Implementation: Two lead facility technicians attended the Single-Phase Immersion Cooling Masterclass in Gimpo. Utilizing our hydraulic calculation models, they retrofitted five 24-unit immersion tanks, plumbed a closed-loop brazed plate heat exchanger, and sized an outdoor dry cooler with adiabatic pre-cooling pads.

Quantifiable Result: Acoustic noise dropped from 86 dBA to under 48 dBA. Hashrate remained constant at 100% throughput even during 36°C ambient afternoons, and overall facility PUE decreased from 1.34 to 1.04.
